One of my favourite things is searching Instagram for new and interesting creations. One thing leads to another and all of a sudden you find yourself in an utterly charming shop in PEI called Stuff n’ Such.
So I reached out to the owner, Nancy, and found out a little bit about her story. She was a social worker in Ontario for more than 20 years before moving to the island, which she calls the best decision ever. Now she runs a shop in Stratford where she throws her energies into creating and selling home decor. And she is energetic – you really should check out all of the items she has on Instagram.
I just love it when people take a chance on something new, don’t you?
What really caught my eye were the vintage re-invented furniture pieces that owner Nancy paints herself using Canadian-made milk paints that are eco-friendly, solvent-free and have zero VOC’s.
Stuff n’ Such just opened in May, so if you haven’t been to Stratford in a while, it’s worth a visit.
